Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern sales of containers and modular units concluded between Polibeiras - Contentores Isotérmicos, Lda. and its customers, whether businesses or consumers.

2. Prices

Prices shown on the site include VAT and are exclusive of delivery costs. Transport costs are paid by the customer and quoted separately, depending on the delivery address and access conditions; the amount is communicated to you before any payment. For Switzerland, customs duties and clearance also remain the responsibility of the recipient. The price displayed at the time of the order prevails.

3. Ordering and payment

The order is recorded on the site with no immediate charge. Within 24 working hours, the seller confirms availability and the transport cost, and sends the payment details by e-mail (Multibanco reference, MB WAY, or IBAN for a SEPA transfer). The unit is prepared and dispatched once payment is received; it remains the property of the seller until payment in full.

4. Availability

Stock levels shown are indicative and updated regularly. Where a unit is unavailable, an equivalent is offered or the amount paid is refunded without delay.

5. Warranty

To be completed: warranty terms for new and second-hand goods, in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021 on the sale of consumer goods.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have fourteen days from receipt, in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014 on distance contracts. Return costs for a bulky unit remain payable by the customer. Modules built or fitted out to order are excluded.

7. Reservations on delivery

Check the condition of the unit on delivery and note any reservation on the consignment note. Reservations must be confirmed in writing within three working days.

8. Disputes

To be completed: applicable law (Portuguese), competent jurisdiction, the alternative consumer dispute resolution body the company has joined, and a link to the electronic Livro de Reclamações, which is mandatory in Portugal.
